A big thank you to all our newly certified Crime Free Multi-Housing Communities. These certified properties were presented with a certificate at the July 13th El Cajon City Council Meeting.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2010 Citizen's Academy Graduating Class
Pictured above is the 2010 Citizen's Academy Class. Last night (06-30-10) we honored the residents who attended this eight week course. In this course, residents were exposed to many different aspects of the police department. Everyone got to learn a lot more about the police department and see the job we have to do everyday. We would like to thank everyone who participated in making the 2010 Citizen's Academy a success.
Look for another academy possibly next year 2011.
The El Cajon Police Department Neighborhood Headquarters is a centralized place for residents of El Cajon to come and seek out information about their neighborhood and connect with other residents within the City of El Cajon.
The Neighborhood Headquarters is also a place for residents get an inside look at the El Cajon Police Department Special Enforcement Division. The El Cajon Police Department Special Enforcement Division was created to address a wide variety of community problems. Whatever the problem your community is facing, the El Cajon Police Department is here for you.
