E-ALERT INFORMATION
**CITY WIDE VEHICLE BURGLARY ALERT**
Our Crime Analysis Division has noticed an increase in vehicle burglaries throughout the City of El Cajon. The times vary and the incident locations are all over the City with no defined pattern. The El Cajon Police Department would like to remind everyone to ALWAYS lock your vehicle doors and roll up your windows. Don’t leave anything of value inside your vehicle. This includes: purses, wallets, computers, briefcases, electronic equipment, and any information that contains your personal information such as Social Security Numbers. Always use anti-theft devices such as car alarms, and steering lock devices.
Watch out for your neighbor and neighborhood. If you see people casing your neighborhood, please call the El Cajon Police Department at 619-579-3311.
