HOT PROWL BURGLARY
$1,000 Reward
A “hot prowl burglary” occurs when a suspect enters a house or apartment and steals property when the people living in the house or apartment are home. This crime usually occurs at night or in the early morning hours when people are asleep.
There have been hot prowl burglaries reported in the Granite Hills area of El Cajon. Specifically, near the intersection of Jamacha Road and Granite Hills Drive, in El Cajon.
The suspects have been entering through unlocked doors or windows. Witnesses have reported hearing noises before and after these crimes occur. Victims have found side gates left open after the crime has occurred.

Remember, if you suspect a prowler is near your residence or you see suspicious activity at your neighbor’s residence, call 911 immediately. Also, if you have been a victim of a burglary, please report the crime to police as soon as possible. The safety of our citizens is of great importance. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects responsible for these hot prowl burglaries. Anyone with information about the identity and location of these suspects should call the Crime Stoppers anonymous toll free tip line at:
