El Cajon Police E-Alert- Suspicious Person

On 7/21/10, at approximately 0940 hours, a juvenile female was walking down Madison approaching Compton, when she was approached by an unknown black male adult. The black male adult stopped and exited his vehicle and came within one foot of the victim. The suspect asked her at least four times if she wanted his phone number. The victim refused and the suspect got into his vehicle, followed her, and asked her if she needed a ride. The victim did not respond and kept walking until she arrived at her destination.
The suspect was described as a black male adult, approximately 40 years old, with a dark goatee, black hat, plaid shirt with a black t-shirt underneath, and blue jeans.
The vehicle was described as a tan older sedan. There are no further details at this time.
